Counselling & Psychotherapy services

There are times in life when most of us experience emotional difficulties or challenges. These may include bereavement, depression, anxiety, relational difficulties and work stress to name a few. Counselling can provide an opportunity to talk about and work through those difficulties whatever you face.
I work with individuals to try to make sense of and understand why you might feel and experience things in a certain way. In doing this, I aim to provide each client with the opportunity to learn more about themselves. I am particularly interested in how unresolved issues from the past can have an impact in the present, and work collaboratively with each client to explore and resolve these issues.
I am a UKCP accredited psychotherapist with a Master’s Degree in Integrative Psychotherapy, gained from The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I have over 9 years’ experience of working with adults, on a broad range of issues and concerns. Weekly sessions can be either short term (6 sessions) or long term basis (more than 12 sessions), depending on individual need. I offer either a daytime or evening appointment by agreement with each client.
I abide by the Code of Ethics of The Sherwood Psychotherapy Training Institute. I am in regular supervision to meet UKCP requirements and am fully insured.
I am currently a trainee supervisor offering reduced fee supervision. Please get in touch for more detail.
If you would like more information about counselling or the service I provide, I would be happy to speak with you either on the telephone or respond to any queries via email. My contact details can be found on the ‘Contact‘ page.
Fees: £50 per session, initial 30 minutes telephone consultation free.
